Location Scoring and Risk Monitoring, Accelerated

Need to know what the Earth is going to throw at your portfolio next? Want to gauge weather and climate risk for your supply chain? Our location scoring service will take in your list of locations and addresses and give you back a daily dump of what will happen to those locations in the next day, week, decade, or several decades, all based on publicly available weather forcasts, supercomputer simulations, and other data sets.

How It Works

You point us to an S3 bucket, a CSV file, or a database view with an ID and the lat/longs of all your locations (or street addresses, for an additional charge) and we’ll check them daily against a range of data like weather forcasts, climate forcasts, active fires, and pollution data and then return to you (via S3 bucket or directly back into your database) risk scores looking out 1 day, 1 week, and even 80 years.

What Data Is Available?

We’re adding new data constantly. Right now, we have:

• Climate Projections: provided by several labs participating in the Coupled Model Intercomparison Project (CMIP6) that include predictions of temperature, precipitation, and snow area coverage in 100km square grids going all the way out to the year 2100 (yes, you read that right. 2100!).
• Weather forcasts: provided by third party weather forcasts.
• Fire maps: provided by NASA satellites.
